Nelson Coastal Highway Tour (Full Day)
A Nelson tour which introduces you to the Nelson region which is famous for its arts and crafts culture. Artisans have been attracted to the Nelson region for over 200 years inspired by the physical beauty of the local landscape and the clarity of natural light.
Nelson is also home to 25 boutique wineries nestled amongst the Moutere Hills or the ‘river garden’ of the Waimea Plains. Nelson is the country’s eighth largest wine region.
The Nelson region is New Zealand’s only source of high grade hops, which means there are now 11 craft breweries scattered around the Nelson Bays area. If wine is not your thing then beer may be.
We have selected an itinerary that covers it all; artists, boutique wineries, craft breweries, scenic and historic highlights. We can arrange for you to meet the artists in their own studios then to sample a fine vintage in a delightful vineyard or a craft beer or too.
